关于本章
This surah is classified as revealed in the Medinan period. It begins with all creation glorifying God, the Sovereign and Most Holy, and presents as His bounty the raising of a messenger among an unlettered people, who recites God's verses to them and teaches them the Book and wisdom. It then compares those entrusted with the Torah who did not carry it out to a donkey loaded with books, and reminds those who claim to be God's only allies that the death they flee will surely meet them. The second half instructs believers to leave off trading and hasten to the remembrance of God when the call to prayer is made on Friday, and then to disperse in the land seeking God's bounty once the prayer is over. It closes by mentioning people who ran off to trade and amusement, leaving the Messenger standing.

(简介为英文)
-
1
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth glorifies God, the Sovereign, the Most Holy, the Almighty, the All-Wise.
-
2
It is He who raised among the unlettered a messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His verses, purifying them, and teaching them the Book and wisdom — though before that they were in clear error —
-
3
and also among others of them who are yet to join them. It is He who is the Almighty, the All-Wise.
-
4
That is the bounty of God, which He gives to whom He wills, and God is the Possessor of great bounty.
-
5
The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not carry it out is like that of a donkey carrying volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of God. And God does not guide the wrongdoing people.
-
6
Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of God, to the exclusion of [other] people, then wish for death, if you are truthful."
-
7
But they will never wish for it, because of what their hands have sent ahead. And God knows well the wrongdoers.
-
8
Say, "Indeed the death from which you flee will surely meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do."
-
9
O you who believe, when the call is made for the prayer on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of God and leave off trading. That is better for you, if you only knew.
-
10
Then when the prayer is concluded, disperse in the land and seek of the bounty of God, and remember God often so that you may succeed.
-
11
But when they saw some trade or amusement, they rushed off to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with God is better than amusement and trade, and God is the best of providers."
