关于本章
This surah is classified as revealed in the Meccan period. It begins by praising God, in whose hand is all dominion, who created death and life to test which people are best in deeds. It invites the reader to look again and again at the seven layered heavens and find no flaw, then depicts those thrown into Hell admitting that a warner came to them but they denied him. It promises forgiveness to those in awe of their Lord unseen, and asks who made the earth easy to walk upon and who holds up the birds as they spread and fold their wings. The later verses are a series of questions introduced by 'Say,' stating that only God knows when the promised Day will come, and the surah ends by asking who could bring flowing water if one's water sank away into the earth.
- Life and death as test
- Seven flawless heavens
- Confession in Hell
- Signs in birds and water
- The role of a warner

(简介为英文)
-
1
Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion, and He has power over all things —
-
2
who created death and life to test you, [to see] which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Almighty, the Most Forgiving.
-
3
who created seven heavens in layers. You see no flaw in the creation of the Most Gracious. So turn your gaze again: do you see any rifts?
-
4
Then turn your gaze again and again; your gaze will return to you humbled and weary.
-
5
And We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and made them missiles against the devils, and We have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.
-
6
Those who disbelieve in their Lord will have the torment of Hell — how miserable a journey's end!
-
7
When they are thrown into it, they will hear it roaring as it boils up,
-
8
almost bursting with fury. Every time a group is thrown into it, its keepers will ask them, "Did no warner come to you?"
-
9
They will say, "Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied and said, 'God has sent down nothing; you are only in great error.'"
-
10
And they will say, "If only we had listened or reasoned, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."
-
11
So they will confess their sin. Away, then, with the companions of the Blaze!
-
12
Those who are in awe of their Lord without seeing Him can look forward to forgiveness and a great reward.
-
13
Whether you keep your words secret or speak them openly, He knows well what is in the hearts.
-
14
Does He who created not know, when He is the Subtle, the All-Aware?
-
15
It is He who made the earth subservient to you, so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision; and to Him is the resurrection.
-
16
Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up, while it quakes?
-
17
Or do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not send against you a storm of stones? Then you will know how [serious] My warning was.
-
18
And those before them denied; then how [terrible] was My rejection [of them]!
-
19
Have they not seen the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them? None holds them up except the Most Gracious. Indeed He sees all things.
-
20
Or who is it that could be an army for you to help you, other than the Most Gracious? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion.
-
21
Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? No, they persist in insolence and aversion.
-
22
Is one who walks fallen on his face better guided, or one who walks upright on a straight path?
-
23
Say, "It is He who brought you into being and gave you hearing and sight and hearts. Little are you grateful."
-
24
Say, "He is the One who spread you across the earth, and before Him you will all be assembled."
-
25
And they say, "When is this promise, if you are truthful?"
-
26
Say, "The knowledge is only with God, and I am only a clear warner."
-
27
But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieved will be grieved, and it will be said, "This is what you used to call for."
-
28
Say, "Have you considered: whether God destroys me and those with me or has mercy on us, who will protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?"
-
29
Say, "He is the Most Gracious; we believe in Him, and in Him we put our trust. And you will come to know who it is that is in clear error."
-
30
Say, "Have you considered: if your water were to sink away [into the earth], who then could bring you flowing water?"
