关于本章
Opening with the letters Ha Mim and Ayn Sin Qaf, the surah states that God reveals to the Prophet just as He revealed to those before him. At its center is the command to establish the same religion that was enjoined on Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, and not to be divided in it. It declares that there is nothing like God, and explains that He sends down provision in due measure and spreads His mercy through rain after despair. It then describes the believers: they avoid major sins, forgive when angry, keep up the prayer, conduct their affairs by mutual consultation, and spend from what they are given. Retaliation for wrong is limited to its like, but whoever pardons and makes peace has a reward from God, and patience with forgiveness is praised as firm resolve. The surah closes by naming the three ways God speaks to human beings and calling the revelation a light that guides.
- One religion for all prophets
- None like God
- Mutual consultation
- Justice and forgiveness
- Modes of revelation
章名由来 The name comes from verse 38, which describes believers who conduct their affairs by mutual consultation.

-
1
Ha Mim.
-
2
Ayn Sin Qaf.
-
3
Thus does God, the Almighty, the All-Wise, reveal to you and to those before you.
-
4
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and He is the Most High, the Tremendous.
-
5
The heavens almost split apart from above them, and the angels glorify the praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Surely God is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
-
6
As for those who take protectors besides Him, God is watching over them, and you are not their keeper.
-
7
And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Quran, so that you may warn the Mother of Cities and those around it, and warn of the Day of Gathering, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in the Garden and a party in the blazing Fire.
-
8
Had God willed, He could have made them one community, but He admits whomever He wills into His mercy. And the wrongdoers will have no protector and no helper.
-
9
Or have they taken protectors besides Him? But God alone is the Protector; He gives life to the dead, and He has power over all things.
-
10
Whatever you differ about, its judgement rests with God. That is God, my Lord; in Him I put my trust, and to Him I turn.
-
11
Originator of the heavens and the earth, He has made for you mates from among yourselves, and mates among the livestock, by which He multiplies you. There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
-
12
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. He extends provision to whomever He wills and restricts [it]. He has knowledge of all things.
-
13
He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah, and what We have revealed to you, and what We enjoined upon Abraham, Moses and Jesus: "Establish the religion and do not be divided in it." What you call the idolaters to is hard for them. God chooses for Himself whomever He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns [to Him].
-
14
They did not become divided until after knowledge had come to them, out of rivalry among themselves. Had it not been for a word that had already gone forth from your Lord [deferring them] to an appointed term, it would have been settled between them. And those who were made to inherit the Book after them are in disquieting doubt about it.
-
15
So to this [faith] call [them], and remain steadfast as you have been commanded, and do not follow their desires. Say, "I believe in whatever Book God has sent down, and I have been commanded to do justice among you. God is our Lord and your Lord. For us are our deeds and for you your deeds. There is no argument between us and you. God will bring us together, and to Him is the final return."
-
16
Those who argue about God after He has been responded to, their argument is void with their Lord. Upon them is wrath, and they will have a severe punishment.
-
17
God is the One who revealed the Book in truth, and the Balance. How can you know? The Hour may well be near.
-
18
Those who do not believe in it seek to hasten it, while those who believe are fearful of it and know that it is the truth. Surely those who dispute about the Hour are far astray.
-
19
God is Gentle with His servants; He provides for whomever He wills. He is the All-Strong, the Almighty.
-
20
Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We increase for him his harvest; and whoever desires the harvest of this world, We give him some of it, but he will have no share in the Hereafter.
-
21
Or do they have partners who have ordained for them a religion that God has not permitted? Were it not for the decisive word, it would have been settled between them. And the wrongdoers will have a painful punishment.
-
22
You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned, and it will surely befall them. But those who believe and do righteous deeds will be in the meadows of the Gardens. They will have whatever they wish with their Lord. That is the great bounty.
-
23
That is what God gives as good news to His servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say, "I ask you no reward for this except affection due to kinship." Whoever earns a good deed, We increase for him good in it. God is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciative.
-
24
Or do they say, "He has fabricated a lie about God"? If God willed, He could seal your heart. And God wipes out falsehood and establishes the truth by His words. He knows well what is in the hearts.
-
25
It is He who accepts repentance from His servants, pardons evil deeds, and knows what you do.
-
26
And He responds to those who believe and do righteous deeds and gives them more of His bounty. But the disbelievers will have a severe punishment.
-
27
If God were to extend provision abundantly to His servants, they would transgress on earth. But He sends down in due measure whatever He wills. He is All-Aware and All-Seeing of His servants.
-
28
It is He who sends down the rain after they have despaired, and spreads out His mercy. He is the Protector, the Praiseworthy.
-
29
Among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the living creatures He has scattered through them. And He has power to gather them whenever He wills.
-
30
Whatever misfortune befalls you is because of what your own hands have earned, and He pardons much.
-
31
You cannot escape [Him] on earth, and besides God you have no protector and no helper.
-
32
Among His signs are the ships sailing on the sea like mountains.
-
33
If He wills, He stills the wind, and they remain motionless on its surface. In that are signs for everyone who is steadfastly patient and grateful.
-
34
Or He destroys them for what they have earned, yet He pardons much.
-
35
And those who dispute about Our signs will know that they have no escape.
-
36
Anything you have been given is merely a provision for this worldly life, while what God holds is better and longer-lasting for those who believe and rely on their Lord,
-
37
who avoid the major sins and indecencies, and who, when they are angry, forgive,
-
38
who respond to their Lord, establish the prayer, conduct their affairs by mutual consultation, and spend from what We have provided them,
-
39
and who, when wronged, defend themselves.
-
40
The recompense of an evil is an evil like it. But whoever pardons and makes reconciliation, his reward is with God. He does not love the wrongdoers.
-
41
And whoever defends himself after being wronged, there is no blame on such people.
-
42
The blame is only on those who wrong people and transgress on earth without right. They will have a painful punishment.
-
43
But whoever is patient and forgives, that is truly among the matters requiring firm resolve.
-
44
Whoever God leaves astray has no protector after Him. And you will see the wrongdoers, when they see the punishment, saying, "Is there any way back?"
-
45
And you will see them being exposed to it, humbled by disgrace, looking with stealthy glances. And those who believe will say, "The real losers are those who have lost themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection." Surely the wrongdoers will be in a lasting punishment.
-
46
They will have no protectors to help them besides God. And whoever God leaves astray has no way.
-
47
Respond to your Lord before there comes from God a Day that cannot be turned back. You will have no refuge on that Day, and no [chance of] denial.
-
48
But if they turn away, We have not sent you as a guardian over them. Your duty is only to deliver [the message]. When We let man taste mercy from Us, he rejoices in it; but if evil befalls them because of what their hands have sent forth, then man is ungrateful.
-
49
The dominion of the heavens and the earth is God's. He creates what He pleases, giving daughters to whom He pleases and sons to whom He pleases,
-
50
or He gives them both sons and daughters, and He makes barren whomever He wills. He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.
-
51
It is not for any human being that God should speak to him except by revelation, or from behind a veil, or by sending a messenger who reveals by His permission whatever He wills. He is Most High, All-Wise.
-
52
And thus We have revealed to you a spirit by Our command. You did not know what the Book was, nor what faith was, but We made it a light by which We guide whomever We will of Our servants. And you are surely guiding to a straight path,
-
53
the path of God, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Surely to God all matters return.
