この章について
The surah begins by declaring that God has granted the Prophet a clear opening, or victory, and that He sent down tranquility into the believers' hearts so they would grow in faith. Those who pledge allegiance to the Messenger are pledging allegiance to God, with the hand of God over their hands. It then rebukes the desert Arabs who stayed behind with excuses, while stating that there is no blame on the blind, the lame or the sick. God is said to have been pleased with the believers who swore allegiance beneath the tree, rewarding them with calm and a near victory, and it refers to the disbelievers who barred the believers and the sacrificial animals from the Sacred Mosque. The surah affirms that the Messenger's vision of entering the Sacred Mosque in safety has been fulfilled, and closes by describing the believers as in the Torah and the Gospel, likened to a seed whose shoot grows strong and stands upright.

-
1
We have granted you a clear opening [victory],
-
2
so that God may forgive you your past and future sins, complete His favor upon you, and guide you on a straight path,
-
3
and that God may help you with a mighty help.
-
4
It is He who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers so that they would increase in faith along with their faith. And to God belong the armies of the heavens and the earth, and God is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
-
5
[It is] so that He may admit the believing men and the believing women into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to remain there forever, and remove from them their misdeeds. And that, in the sight of God, is a supreme triumph.
-
6
And that He may punish the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women, and the idolater men and the idolater women, who think evil thoughts about God. Upon them is an evil turn of fortune. God is angry with them, has cursed them, and has prepared Hell for them. What an evil destination!
-
7
The hosts of the heavens and the earth belong to God; God is Almighty, All-Wise.
-
8
Indeed, We sent you to bear witness, to give good tidings, and to warn,
-
9
so that you [people] may believe in God and His Messenger, support him and honor him, and glorify Him morning and evening.
-
10
Those who pledge allegiance to you are actually pledging allegiance to God. The hand of God is over their hands. So whoever breaks his pledge breaks it only to his own harm, and whoever fulfills what he has pledged to God, He will give him a great reward.
-
11
Those of the desert Arabs who were left behind will say to you, "Our property and our families kept us busy, so ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, "Who then has any power for you against God if He intends harm for you or intends benefit for you? Rather, God is ever All-Aware of what you do.
-
12
Rather, you thought that the Messenger and the believers would never return to their families, and that was made fair-seeming in your hearts. You thought an evil thought, and you were a ruined people."
-
13
And whoever does not believe in God and His Messenger, We have prepared for the disbelievers a blazing Fire.
-
14
To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He forgives whomever He wills and punishes whomever He wills. And God is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
-
15
Those who were left behind will say, when you set out to take spoils, "Let us follow you." They want to change the word of God. Say, "You will not follow us. Thus God has said before." Then they will say, "No, you envy us." Rather, they understand only a little.
-
16
Say to those of the desert Arabs who were left behind, "You will be called against a people of great might; you will fight them, or they will submit. If you obey, God will give you a fine reward; but if you turn away as you turned away before, He will punish you with a painful punishment."
-
17
There is no blame on the blind, nor blame on the lame, nor blame on the sick. And whoever obeys God and His Messenger, He will admit him into Gardens beneath which rivers flow; but whoever turns away, He will punish him with a painful punishment.
-
18
God was well pleased with the believers when they swore allegiance to you beneath the tree; He knew what lay in their hearts, so He sent calm down upon them and rewarded them with a victory close at hand,
-
19
and many spoils which they will take. And God is Almighty, All-Wise.
-
20
God has promised you many spoils that you will take, and He has hastened this for you, and He has restrained the hands of people from you, so that it may be a sign for the believers and that He may guide you on a straight path.
-
21
And other [spoils] which you were not able to [take], God has already encompassed them. And God has power over all things.
-
22
If those who disbelieve had fought you, they would have turned their backs, and then they would find no protector and no helper.
-
23
[That is] the way of God which has passed before, and you will never find any change in the way of God.
-
24
He is the One who held back their hands from you and yours from them within Mecca, after He had let you gain the upper hand over them. God is watching all that you do.
-
25
They are the ones who disbelieved and barred you from the Sacred Mosque, and [barred] the sacrificial animals, held back from reaching their place [of sacrifice]. Had it not been for believing men and believing women whom you did not know, lest you trample them and some guilt befall you on their account without [your] knowing, [you would have been permitted to fight]. [This was] so that God may admit into His mercy whomever He wills. Had they been separated, We would have punished those who disbelieved among them with a painful punishment.
-
26
When those who disbelieved put into their hearts zealotry, the zealotry of the age of ignorance, God sent down His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers, and bound them to the word of mindfulness of God, and they were most worthy of it and deserving of it. And God has full knowledge of all things.
-
27
God has certainly fulfilled for His Messenger the vision in truth: "You will surely enter the Sacred Mosque, if God wills, in safety, with heads shaved and [hair] shortened, not fearing [anyone]." He knew what you did not know, and He has granted besides that a near victory.
-
28
It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, to make it prevail over all religion. And God is sufficient as a Witness.
-
29
Muhammad is the Messenger of God. And those with him are firm against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating, seeking bounty from God and His pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is like a seed that sends forth its shoot, then strengthens it so that it becomes thick and stands upright on its stalk, delighting the sowers, so that He may enrage the disbelievers through them. God has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness and a great reward.
