- Bold, larger (ˈ) = say it strong and a little longer — the stressed syllable.

- Tiny 으 · 트 · 스 = barely voiced. English has no vowel there — stop on the consonant.
- Whole word faint (the, of, and, to…) = light and quick in a sentence; stress the content words.
- Small f v θ ð r = sounds Korean doesn't have — f: upper teeth on the lower lip; v: the same, voiced; θ/ð: tongue tip between the teeth; r: tongue curled back, touching nothing.

About this surah
This surah is classified as revealed in the Medinan period. After the opening statement that all in the heavens and earth glorify God, it rebukes believers for saying what they do not do, and says God loves those who fight in His cause in ranks like a solid structure. It then recalls Moses speaking to a people who hurt him, and Jesus son of Mary telling the Children of Israel that he confirms the Torah and brings news of a messenger to come after him named Ahmad. It declares that those who try to extinguish God's light with their mouths will fail, for God will perfect His light, and it describes faith and striving with wealth and life as a trade that saves from painful punishment. It ends by calling believers to be helpers of God, as the disciples of Jesus were.

-
6
And [remember] when Jesus son of Mary said, "O Children of Israel, I am the Messenger of God to you, confirming what came before me of the Torah, and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear proofs, they said, "This is plain magic."

12
He will forgive you your sins and admit you into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, and pleasant dwellings in the Gardens of Eden. That is the great triumph.

13
And [there is] another [favour] that you love: help from God and a near victory. So give good news to the believers.
-
14
O you who believe, be helpers of God, as Jesus son of Mary said to the disciples, "Who are my helpers [in the way] to God?" The disciples said, "We are the helpers of God." Then a group of the Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.
