太字 = 単語の強勢がある音節。少し強く。
上線 = 長母音（マッド）。2拍ほど伸ばす。朗誦でいちばん大切な長さ。

単語全体が薄い(the・of・and・to…) = 文の中では弱く速く。名詞・動詞など内容語を強く。

この章について

Classed as a Meccan sura, it begins with oaths by the night as it covers, the day as it shines, and the One who created male and female, and declares that human efforts are diverse. Two paths are then set side by side. Whoever gives, is mindful of God and affirms the best reward will be eased toward ease; whoever is stingy, thinks himself self-sufficient and denies that reward will be eased toward hardship, and his wealth will not help him when he falls. The sura states that guidance belongs to God, as do the Hereafter and this first life, and warns of a blazing Fire. Only the most wretched, who denied and turned away, will burn in it. The most God-fearing will be kept far from it: the one who gives his wealth to purify himself, not to repay a favour but seeking only the Face of his Lord, the Most High — and he will be well pleased.

وَاللَّيْلِ왈라일리 إِذَا이^ð다 يَغْشَىٰ야그샤
2
وَالنَّهَارِ완나하^r리 إِذَا이^ð다 تَجَلَّىٰ타잘라
3
وَمَا와마 خَلَقَ칼라깟 الذَّكَرَ^ð다카^r라 وَالْأُنْثَىٰ왈운^θ사
4
إِنَّ인나 سَعْيَكُمْ사으야쿰 لَشَتَّىٰ라샷타
5
فَأَمَّا^f파암마 مَنْ만 أَعْطَىٰ아으따 وَاتَّقَىٰ왓타까
6
وَصَدَّقَ와삿다까 بِالْحُسْنَىٰ빌후스나
7
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ^f파사누얏시^r루후 لِلْيُسْرَىٰ릴유스^r라
8
وَأَمَّا와암마 مَنْ맘 بَخِلَ바킬라 وَاسْتَغْنَىٰ와스타그나
9
وَكَذَّبَ와캇^ð다바 بِالْحُسْنَىٰ빌후스나
10
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ^f파사누얏시^r루후 لِلْعُسْرَىٰ릴우스^r라
11
وَمَا와마 يُغْنِي유그니 عَنْهُ안후 مَالُهُ말루후 إِذَا이^ð다 تَرَدَّىٰ타^r랏다
12
إِنَّ인나 عَلَيْنَا알라이나 لَلْهُدَىٰ랄후다
13
وَإِنَّ와인나 لَنَا라나 لَلْآخِرَةَ랄아키^r라타 وَالْأُولَىٰ왈울라
14
فَأَنْذَرْتُكُمْ^f파안^ð다^r르투쿰 نَارًا나^r란 تَلَظَّىٰ탈랏^ð다
15
لَا라 يَصْلَاهَا야슬라하 إِلَّا일랄 الْأَشْقَى아시까
16
الَّذِي알라^ð디 كَذَّبَ캇^ð다바 وَتَوَلَّىٰ와타왈라
17
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا와사유잔나부할 الْأَتْقَى아트까
18
الَّذِي알라^ð디 يُؤْتِي유으티 مَالَهُ말라후 يَتَزَكَّىٰ야타작카
19
وَمَا와마 لِأَحَدٍ리아하딘 عِنْدَهُ인다후 مِنْ민 نِعْمَةٍ니으마틴 تُجْزَىٰ투즈자
20
إِلَّا일라 ابْتِغَاءَ브티가아 وَجْهِ와즈히 رَبِّهِ^r랍비힐 الْأَعْلَىٰ아을라
21
وَلَسَوْفَ왈라사우^f파 يَرْضَىٰ야^r르다
