关于本章
Opening with Ha Mim, the surah introduces God, who sent down the Book, as Forgiver of sin and Accepter of repentance. The angels who bear the Throne are shown praying for forgiveness for the believers, and it is declared that on the Day of Meeting the kingdom belongs to God alone. The central narrative concerns Moses and Pharaoh, and especially a believing man from Pharaoh's family who had concealed his faith. In a long speech he asks his people whether they will kill a man for saying “My Lord is God,” warns them of the fate of earlier nations, and reminds them that Joseph had come to them before. Pharaoh orders Haman to build a tower so he can look upon the God of Moses, but his scheme comes to ruin. The surah then gives God's words “Call upon Me; I will respond to you,” traces human life from dust to old age, and warns that faith declared only after seeing the punishment does not benefit.

(简介为英文)
-
1
Ha Mim.
-
2
The sending down of the Book is from God, the Almighty, the All-Knowing,
-
3
Forgiver of sin and Accepter of repentance, severe in punishment, Lord of bounty. There is no god but Him; to Him is the final return.
-
4
None dispute about the signs of God except those who disbelieve, so do not be deceived by their moving freely about the land.
-
5
Before them the people of Noah denied, and the confederates after them. Every community plotted against its messenger to seize him, and they argued with falsehood to refute the truth with it. So I seized them, and how [terrible] was My retribution!
-
6
Thus the word of your Lord has come due against those who disbelieve: that they are the companions of the Fire.
-
7
Those who bear the Throne, and those around it, glorify the praise of their Lord, believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord, You encompass all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and protect them from the punishment of the Blaze.
-
8
Our Lord, and admit them into the Gardens of Eden which You have promised them, along with the righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. You are indeed the Almighty, the All-Wise.
-
9
And protect them from evil deeds. Whoever You protect from evil on that Day, You have shown mercy to him. That is the supreme triumph."
-
10
Those who disbelieved will be called out to: "God's loathing [of you] is greater than your loathing of yourselves, when you were called to faith but you disbelieved."
-
11
They will say, "Our Lord, You have caused us to die twice and given us life twice, and we have confessed our sins. So is there any way out?"
-
12
[They will be told], "This is so because whenever God alone was called upon you refused to believe, yet when others were joined with Him you believed. The judgement, then, rests with God, the Exalted, the Great."
-
13
It is He who shows you His signs and sends down provision for you from the sky. But none take heed except those who turn [to Him].
-
14
So call upon God, devoting your religion sincerely to Him, even though the disbelievers dislike it.
-
15
Exalted in rank, Lord of the Throne, He sends the spirit by His command upon whomever He wills of His servants, to warn of the Day of Meeting,
-
16
the Day when they will come forth, nothing about them hidden from God. "To whom does the kingdom belong this Day?" "To God, the One, the Irresistible."
-
17
This Day every soul will be repaid for what it earned. No injustice this Day! God is swift in reckoning.
-
18
Warn them of the Approaching Day, when hearts will be at the throats, choking [with distress]. The wrongdoers will have no close friend and no intercessor to be heeded.
-
19
He knows the eyes' deceitful glances and all that hearts keep hidden.
-
20
God judges with truth, while those they call upon besides Him cannot judge anything. God is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
-
21
Have they not traveled through the land and seen what the end was of those before them? They were greater than them in strength and in the traces [they left] in the land, but God seized them for their sins, and they had no protector from God.
-
22
That was because their messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they disbelieved, so God seized them. He is All-Strong, severe in punishment.
-
23
Moses too We sent forth, bearing Our signs and an evident authority
-
24
to Pharaoh, Haman and Korah, but they said, "A sorcerer, a liar."
-
25
And when he came to them with the truth from Us, they said, "Slay the sons of those who share his faith, and let their women live." Yet the plotting of the disbelievers can only go astray.
-
26
And Pharaoh said, "Leave me to kill Moses, and let him call upon his Lord. I fear he will change your religion or cause corruption to appear in the land."
-
27
Moses said, "From every arrogant person who rejects the Day of Reckoning, I seek shelter with my Lord and your Lord."
-
28
And a believing man from the family of Pharaoh, who concealed his faith, said, "Will you kill a man because he says, 'My Lord is God,' when he has brought you clear proofs from your Lord? If he is a liar, his lie is upon him; but if he is truthful, some of what he promises you will strike you. God does not guide anyone who is excessive and a liar.
-
29
O my people, yours is the kingdom today, dominant in the land; but who will help us against the might of God if it comes upon us?" Pharaoh said, "I show you only what I see, and I guide you only to the path of right conduct."
-
30
And the one who believed said, "O my people, I fear for you [a fate] like the day of the confederates,
-
31
like the fate of the people of Noah, Ad, Thamud and those after them. And God does not intend injustice for [His] servants.
-
32
And O my people, I fear for you the Day of Mutual Calling,
-
33
the Day you will turn your backs and flee, having no protector from God. And whoever God leaves astray will have no guide.
-
34
Joseph came to you before with clear proofs, but you remained in doubt about what he brought you, until when he died you said, 'God will never send a messenger after him.' Thus God leaves astray whoever is excessive and full of doubt,
-
35
those who dispute about the signs of God without any authority having come to them. It is greatly loathsome in the sight of God and of those who believe. Thus God seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant."
-
36
And Pharaoh said, "O Haman, build me a tower so that I may reach the pathways,
-
37
the pathways of the heavens, and look upon the God of Moses; though I think he is a liar." Thus the evil of his deeds was made to seem fair to Pharaoh, and he was barred from the way. And Pharaoh's scheming ended only in ruin.
-
38
Then the believer said, "My people, follow me, and I will guide you to the right way.
-
39
O my people, this worldly life is only a passing enjoyment, while the Hereafter is the home of permanence.
-
40
Whoever does an evil deed will be repaid only with its like, and whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while being a believer, those will enter the Garden, provided for there without measure.
-
41
And O my people, how is it that I call you to salvation while you call me to the Fire?
-
42
You invite me to deny God and to set up as His partners things I know nothing about, whereas I invite you to the Almighty, the One who forgives much.
-
43
There is no doubt that what you call me to has no claim to be called upon, in this world or in the Hereafter, that our return is to God, and that the excessive are the companions of the Fire.
-
44
And you will remember what I am telling you. I entrust my affair to God; God sees [His] servants well."
-
45
So God protected him from the evils they plotted, and a terrible punishment closed in on the family of Pharaoh:
-
46
the Fire — they are brought before it morning and evening. And on the Day the Hour arrives, [it will be said], "Bring Pharaoh's people into the most severe punishment."
-
47
And when they argue with one another in the Fire, the weak will say to those who were arrogant, "We were your followers, so can you relieve us of some share of the Fire?"
-
48
Those who were arrogant will say, "We are all in it. God has already judged between [His] servants."
-
49
And those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Hell, "Call upon your Lord to lighten the punishment for us for just one day."
-
50
They will say, "Did your messengers not come to you with clear proofs?" They will say, "Yes, they did." They will say, "Then call [yourselves]." But the call of the disbelievers is only in vain.
-
51
Indeed, We will support Our messengers and the believers both in this worldly life and on the Day when the witnesses rise,
-
52
the Day when their excuses will not benefit the wrongdoers. They will have the curse, and they will have the worst home.
-
53
And We gave Moses the guidance and made the Children of Israel inherit the Book,
-
54
as guidance and a reminder for people of understanding.
-
55
So be patient; God's promise is true. Ask forgiveness for your sin, and glorify the praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.
-
56
Those who dispute about the signs of God without any authority having come to them have nothing in their hearts but a craving for greatness which they will never attain. So seek refuge in God; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
-
57
Surely creating the heavens and the earth is a greater thing than creating human beings, yet most people are unaware.
-
58
The blind and the seeing are not alike, nor are those who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer. How little you take heed!
-
59
The Hour is surely coming; there is no doubt about it. But most people do not believe.
-
60
Your Lord has said, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you. Those who are too arrogant to worship Me will enter Hell, humbled."
-
61
It is God who made the night for you to rest in and the day to see by. God is full of bounty to people, but most people are not grateful.
-
62
That is God, your Lord, Creator of all things. There is no god but Him. So how are you deluded?
-
63
Thus were deluded those who used to reject the signs of God.
-
64
It is God who made the earth a place of settlement for you and the sky a canopy, who formed you and made your forms excellent, and provided you with good things. That is God, your Lord. So blessed is God, Lord of all the worlds.
-
65
He is the Ever-Living; there is no god but Him. So call upon Him, devoting your religion sincerely to Him. Praise be to God, Lord of all the worlds.
-
66
Say, "Now that clear proofs have reached me from my Lord, I am forbidden to worship those whom you invoke besides God, and I am ordered to submit myself to the Lord of all the worlds."
-
67
It is He who created you from dust, then from a drop of sperm, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as infants, then [lets you grow] to reach your full strength, then to become old, though some of you die before that, and to reach an appointed term, so that you may understand.
-
68
It is He who gives life and causes death. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.
-
69
Do you not see those who argue about God's signs — how they are being turned aside?
-
70
Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers will come to know,
-
71
when shackles are around their necks, and chains; they will be dragged
-
72
into boiling water, then in the Fire they will be set ablaze.
-
73
Then it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to associate
-
74
besides God?" They will say, "They have vanished from us. No, we were not calling upon anything before." Thus God leaves the disbelievers astray.
-
75
"That is because you used to exult on earth without right and because you used to behave insolently.
-
76
Enter the gates of Hell, to remain there forever." What a wretched dwelling for the arrogant!
-
77
So be patient; God's promise is true. Whether We show you some of what We promise them or We take you [in death], to Us they will be returned.
-
78
We sent messengers before you; of them are some whose stories We have related to you, and some whose stories We have not related to you. It was not for any messenger to bring a sign except by God's permission. So when the command of God comes, judgement will be passed with truth, and those who dealt in falsehood will then be the losers.
-
79
It is God who made livestock for you, so that you may ride some of them and eat some of them.
-
80
And you have [other] benefits in them, and through them you may attain a need that is in your hearts, and on them and on ships you are carried.
-
81
And He shows you His signs. So which of the signs of God do you deny?
-
82
Have they not traveled through the land and seen what the end was of those before them? They were more numerous than them and greater in strength and in the traces [they left] in the land, yet what they used to earn availed them nothing.
-
83
When their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they exulted in the knowledge they had, and what they used to mock closed in on them.
-
84
Then when they saw Our might, they said, "We believe in God alone, and we disbelieve in what we used to associate with Him."
-
85
But their faith did not benefit them once they had seen Our might. [This is] the way of God that has always been applied among His servants. And there the disbelievers were lost.
