关于本章
The surah opens by stating that everything in the heavens and earth glorifies God, who is the First and the Last, the Outward and the Inward, and who is with people wherever they are. It calls on believers to believe in God and His Messenger and to spend from what they have been made trustees of, promising that a goodly loan to God will be multiplied. On the Day of Judgement, believers' light runs ahead of them, while hypocrites who ask to borrow it are separated from them by a wall with a gate, mercy on one side and punishment on the other. Believers are asked whether the time has come for their hearts to humble themselves, and worldly life is compared to plants that flourish after rain, then wither into chaff. It closes by saying God sent the messengers with the Book, the balance and iron, recalls Noah and Abraham, and mentions Jesus son of Mary and the monasticism his followers devised.

(简介为英文)
-
1
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies God, and He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.
-
2
The sovereignty of the heavens and the earth is His; He brings to life and causes to die, and He is capable of all things.
-
3
He is the First and the Last, the Outward and the Inward, and He knows everything.
-
4
It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself on the Throne. He knows what enters the earth and what comes out of it, and what comes down from the sky and what ascends into it. And He is with you wherever you are. God sees whatever you do.
-
5
His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to God all matters are returned.
-
6
He makes the night pass into the day and makes the day pass into the night, and He knows well what is in the hearts.
-
7
Believe in God and His Messenger, and spend from that of which He has made you trustees. For those of you who believe and spend there will be a great reward.
-
8
And what is the matter with you that you do not believe in God, while the Messenger is calling you to believe in your Lord, and He has already taken your covenant, if you are believers?
-
9
It is He who sends down clear verses upon His servant to bring you out of darkness into light. And indeed God is Most Kind and Most Merciful to you.
-
10
And what is the matter with you that you do not spend in the cause of God, when to God belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent and fought before the victory; they are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Yet to each God has promised the best. And God is fully aware of what you do.
-
11
Who is it that will lend God a goodly loan, so that He multiplies it for him, and he will have a generous reward?
-
12
On the Day you will see the believing men and the believing women, their light running ahead of them and on their right: "Good news for you today: Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever. That is the great triumph."
-
13
On the Day the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women will say to those who believe, "Wait for us, so that we may take some of your light." It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light!" Then a wall will be set up between them with a gate in it; inside it is mercy, and outside it, facing [them], is punishment.
-
14
They will call out to them, "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you tempted yourselves, and waited, and doubted, and wishful thinking deceived you until the command of God came, and the Deceiver deceived you about God.
-
15
So today no ransom will be accepted from you, nor from those who disbelieved. Your refuge is the Fire; it is your [fitting] guardian, and what a wretched destination!"
-
16
Has the time not come for those who believe that their hearts should humble themselves at the remembrance of God and what has come down of the truth, and that they should not be like those who were given the Book before, whose time was prolonged so that their hearts hardened? And many of them are defiantly disobedient.
-
17
Know that God gives life to the earth after its death. We have made the signs clear to you so that you may understand.
-
18
Indeed the charitable men and the charitable women, and those who have lent God a goodly loan — it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a generous reward.
-
19
And those who believe in God and His messengers — they are the truthful ones; and the witnesses with their Lord will have their reward and their light. But those who disbelieve and deny Our signs — they are the companions of Hellfire.
-
20
Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, adornment, boasting among yourselves, and competing in wealth and children — like rain whose growth pleases the farmers; then it dries up and you see it turn yellow, then it becomes crumbling chaff. And in the Hereafter there is severe punishment, and forgiveness from God and [His] good pleasure. The life of this world is nothing but the enjoyment of delusion.
-
21
Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the sky and the earth, prepared for those who believe in God and His messengers. That is the bounty of God, which He gives to whom He wills, and God is the Possessor of great bounty.
-
22
No disaster strikes on the earth or in yourselves except that it is in a record before We bring it into being. Indeed that is easy for God,
-
23
so that you do not grieve over what has escaped you, nor exult over what He has given you. And God does not love anyone self-satisfied and boastful —
-
24
those who are stingy and urge people to stinginess. And whoever turns away — indeed God is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy.
-
25
We have sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and sent down with them the Book and the balance so that people may uphold justice. And We sent down iron, in which is great might and benefits for people, and so that God may know who supports Him and His messengers in [the] unseen. Indeed God is Powerful, Almighty.
-
26
And We sent Noah and Abraham, and placed prophethood and the Book among their descendants. Some of them are rightly guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.
-
27
Then We sent Our messengers following in their footsteps, and We sent Jesus son of Mary after them and gave him the Gospel, and placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy. And monasticism — they invented it; We did not prescribe it for them, [they did it] only seeking God's good pleasure, yet they did not observe it as it should be observed. So We gave those of them who believed their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.
-
28
O you who believe, be mindful of God and believe in His Messenger; He will give you a double share of His mercy, and make for you a light by which you will walk, and forgive you. And God is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
-
29
[This is] so that the People of the Book may know that they have no power over anything of God's bounty, and that bounty is in the hand of God; He gives it to whom He wills. And God is the Possessor of great bounty.
