この章について
Classed as a Medinan sura, it begins by saying that the disbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would not give up their ways until clear evidence came to them. That evidence is identified as a messenger from God reciting purified scriptures that contain upright writings. The sura adds that those who had received the Book divided only after the clear evidence reached them, though they had been commanded only to worship God with sincere and upright devotion, to establish prayer and to give alms — described as 'the upright religion'. It closes by setting two outcomes side by side. Those who disbelieve will remain forever in the Fire of Hell and are called the worst of creation, while those who believe and do righteous deeds are called the best of creatures and will live forever in Gardens of Eden; God is pleased with them and they with Him.

名前の由来 It is named after 'clear evidence' (al-Bayyinah) in verses 1 and 4, which verse 2 explains as a messenger from God.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

لَمْ람 يَكُنِ야쿠닐 الَّذِينَ라ð디나 كَفَرُوا카f파r루 مِنْ민 أَهْلِ아흘릴 الْكِتَابِ키타비 وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ왈무시r리키나 مُنْفَكِّينَ문f팍키나 حَتَّىٰ핫타 تَأْتِيَهُمُ타으티야후물 الْبَيِّنَةُ바이나흐
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Book and the idolaters were not going to desist until there came to them clear evidence:

رَسُولٌr라술룸 مِنَ미날 اللَّهِ라히 يَتْلُو야틀루 صُحُفًا수후f팜 مُطَهَّرَةً무따하r라흐
a messenger from God, reciting purified scriptures,

فِيهَاf피하 كُتُبٌ쿠투분 قَيِّمَةٌ까이마흐
in which are upright writings.

وَمَا와마 تَفَرَّقَ타f파르r라깔 الَّذِينَ라ð디나 أُوتُوا우툴 الْكِتَابَ키타바 إِلَّا일라 مِنْ밈 بَعْدِ바으디 مَا마 جَاءَتْهُمُ자아트후물 الْبَيِّنَةُ바이나흐
And those who were given the Book did not become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence.

وَمَا와마 أُمِرُوا우미r루 إِلَّا일라 لِيَعْبُدُوا리야으부둘 اللَّهَ라하 مُخْلِصِينَ무흘리시나 لَهُ라훗 الدِّينَ디나 حُنَفَاءَ후나f파아 وَيُقِيمُوا와유끼뭇 الصَّلَاةَ살라타 وَيُؤْتُوا와유으툿 الزَّكَاةَ자카타 ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ와ð달리카 دِينُ디눌 الْقَيِّمَةِ까이마흐
And they were not commanded except to worship God, devoting the religion sincerely to Him, upright in faith, and to establish the prayer and to give the alms. And that is the upright religion.

إِنَّ인날 الَّذِينَ라ð디나 كَفَرُوا카f파r루 مِنْ민 أَهْلِ아흘릴 الْكِتَابِ키타비 وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ왈무시r리키나 فِيf피 نَارِ나r리 جَهَنَّمَ자한나마 خَالِدِينَ칼리디나 فِيهَاf피하 ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ울라이카 هُمْ훔 شَرُّ샤르r룰 الْبَرِيَّةِ바r리야흐
Truly, those among the People of the Book and the idolaters who disbelieve will be in the Fire of Hell, remaining in it forever; they are the most wicked of all creation.

إِنَّ인날 الَّذِينَ라ð디나 آمَنُوا아마누 وَعَمِلُوا와아밀룻 الصَّالِحَاتِ살리하티 أُولَٰئِكَ울라이카 هُمْ훔 خَيْرُ카이r룰 الْبَرِيَّةِ바r리야흐
Indeed those who believe and do righteous deeds — they are the best of creatures.

جَزَاؤُهُمْ자자우훔 عِنْدَ인다 رَبِّهِمْr랍비힘 جَنَّاتُ잔나투 عَدْنٍ아드닌 تَجْرِي타즈r리 مِنْ민 تَحْتِهَا타흐티할 الْأَنْهَارُ안하r루 خَالِدِينَ칼리디나 فِيهَاf피하 أَبَدًا아바단 ۖ رَضِيَr라디얄 اللَّهُ라후 عَنْهُمْ안훔 وَرَضُوا와r라두 عَنْهُ안후 ۚ ذَٰلِكَð달리카 لِمَنْ리만 خَشِيَ카시야 رَبَّهُr랍바흐
Their reward with their Lord will be Gardens of Eden beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. God is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. That is for whoever fears his Lord.
